Mario Trilogy of the Great

I wrote a poem about how in the holidays I bought Super Mario Maker, and put my creative skills to the test and made levels on my nintendo. I then thought that It was so awesome, it was worthy of my poetry. You might not understand some bits, but only because they are from Mario.

Mario, oh Mario, I make levels for you to play,
You carefully strategize all that’s in your way,
You jump! You dodge, you run into a gorge,
And then you die, that stupid goomba, he killed you at the lodge.
Paratroopas, they fly, goomba, they walk,
but Mario, oh Mario you have no time to talk,
As you run! You run! Princess Peach is in sight!
And then you see Bowser, ready for a fight.
He jumps! You too! And then you die again,
but what you don’t realize is that nothing has to change!
Again! Again! Determined you are! You must win this level with your secret weapon; the STAR!
You can flip, and you will. Anything that tries to stop you, be ready to be killed …
Then, NO! Your powers have finally run out
But you still never have a reason to need to pout!
You CAN win! You will! You close in and get ready for the kill!
You’re angry, you’re strong, and nothing can go wrong!
Until you see him the huge villain Bowser
The huge runt has taken Princess Peach to another tower!
You are left alone by yourself without any breath left
Then you meet Luigi! Your brother who would never commit theft
He helps you up, talks to you and you’re both ready to go!
Now, now Mario, no one wants to be slow!
You both run, jump, nothing is in your way
You finally arrive at the castle, so you both shout out hooray!
Goomba? Trash! I kill him with one hit
Koopa? Nothing! He’s worth not one bit!
The final battle … it’s close
You can tell it’s near
No need to look! The ground just shook! And this is what you hear:
ROAR! It’s him you can feel it in your gut
When you enter the room he’s in, oh no! The door just loudly shut.
This is it, the final one! Reach the axe to kill the monster
He breathes fire, you dodge he runs, you run, he yells at you: IMPOSTER
Then YES! You reach the axe, he is finally dead. You saved the Princess! Woohoohoo!
My poem has just been read.
